Everyone knows that the BIG Game is all about the food, right? People long for this day, prepping, shopping, scrambling for their grandmother's spinach and artichoke dip recipes and their dads 7 layer bean dip recipe. It's kind like you are judged on the food you bring to a party or by the food you put out at your own party. Here are few recipes to help you out with the task. These 5 recipes are sure to get your party started, and oh yeah, they pair really well with Trione wines.
Peloton Culinary's Chili Con Carne: Made originally by Peloton Culinary for a Trione wine event and paired with the local's favorite - Flat Ridge Zinfandel. This recipe is best prepared in advance so the flavors can merry together and become richer and more savory. Serve this deliciousness in small bowls with cheddar cheese both in the middle and the top (for extra cheesy goodness) and finish with scallions. You'll be the star of the show with this dish!

Southern Bites' Pimento Cheese Deviled Eggs: A Super Bowl party wouldn't be the same without grub from the homeland of each team. Atlanta is known for rich, comfort-style foods; foods that you don't want to count calories if you are even just tasting. Take these delicious, creamy, pimento cheese deviled eggs, they are sure to make your guests keep coming back for more. Whatever you were thinking of making, double it! Pair this appetizer with our Trione 2014 Chardonnay for nice rich treat. Want to be a show off? Make it a MAGNUM for the big game!

Chicken Wings: Because there aint no thang like a chicken wing! These Team Trione made chicken wings were lightly tossed salt, pepper, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Grilled on a nice hot grill a few minutes on each side then put in a bowl and tossed with Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce. You can use any sauce you'd like though! Finish them off with sprinkle of Feta cheese and scallions for a fancy touch. If you're a Falcons fan, then you'll LOVE this dish! If you are a fan of any other team, you're going to LOVE it too!!

Moni's Clam Dip: Well this is delightful treat. Nobody makes clam dip anymore and we think it's a lost art. We are so close to Bodega Bay and there are so many great clam options (and other seafood if you'd like to toss in anything else!), it's almost a crime not to serve this dish at your super bowl party! Coming from a special person to Team Trione, this recipe is near and dear to our hearts. It's also easy-peasy to make! For the recipe click here. Pair this with your favorite sparkling wine! We love the Iron Horse Wedding Cuvee. Patriots fans - THIS is the dish for YOU!!

Guacamole: No Super Bowl party is complete without a good gauc! Here is Jess' rendition of this Mexican favorite. Serve it with everything liquid, whatever your pleasure may be: Craft beer like a good dry-hopped pal ale, a nice rose, or your classic Pacifico, and my favorite the Trione Sauvignon Blanc.
So wherever you find yourself on Sunday, take one of these great dishes with you, you'll be happy you did!
