Grafting in the Vineyards:
Field grafting is an old technique for changing the variety in a vineyard without needing to replant and lose any of the crop. When you plant a brand new vineyard, it take 3-5 years before there is a crop. This is a more efficient way. See this photo collage of the process. We often use this process in our vineyards.
