Let's take a moment to explore some of the most recent accolades from esteemed writers in the industry, highlighting the exceptional craftsmanship behind Trione Winery's creations:

Trione 2022 River Road Sauvignon Blanc
92 Points, "Apricots, grapefruit, spiced pears, and green apples on the nose, with vanilla and lemon pie.
Tangy and fruity, with a medium to full body and creamy texture. Excellent freshness and persistence. Drink now."
James Suckling

Trione 2018 River Road Ranch Pinot Noir
91 Points, "This has broadened out, offering an enticing wave of mulled blood orange and mulberry fruit flavors
infused with red tea, dried anise, menthol and savory notes.
Features lingering tension on the finish, despite the mature profile."

Trione 2018 Alexander Valley Henry's Blend
94 Points, "Comprising 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot, 13% Petit Verdot, 13% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Malbec,
this is a blend that’s greater than the sum of its parts.
That’s a rare judgment on my part, as Cabernet Sauvignon can produce gloriously complete wines on its own from top North Coast appellations,
but this does indeed draw some extra textural fleshiness from the Merlot component
while also deriving interesting aromatic and flavor nuances from the other varieties.
Already very well integrated, this will become even more complex with aging, but is showing beautifully now.
It could easily stand up to a grilled steak, but could also play nicely with a roasted duck.
That’s impressive versatility"

2018 Alexander Valley Block 21, Cabernet Sauvignon
93 Points, "Savory, dried red capsicum with cedar, cocoa powder and dried mushrooms on top of black cherries.
Juicy and layered with some currants and savory earthy spices on the palate.
Not quite deep, but a very elegant and savory expression of cabernet with a very long, subtle finish.
A little sweet-sour, but quite refined and approachable, too. Drink now."
James Suckling

Trione 2017 Flatridge Zinfandel
90 Points, "This grows at a 10-acre vineyard, 10 miles from the coast, planted in 2008 with the St. Peters Church clone of zinfandel.
It’s a complex wine, its structure and oak integrated enough that you could drink it tonight, even as the flavors keep developing with air,
bringing cardamom and curry spice to the fleshy plum fruit, while mineral-inflected tannins keep it supple and dynamic."

Behind these remarkable wines lies the expertise and philosophy of Trione Winery's winemaker, John Duckett. With a deep understanding of the region's unique microclimates and a passion for sustainable winemaking practices, Duckett strives to create wines that reflect the vineyard's terroir while minimizing environmental impact.

We’ve taken significant steps towards sustainability on the winery side, ensuring that each bottle is not only a testament to craftsmanship but also a symbol of our commitment to the planet. By changing cork producers, transitioning to earth-friendly glass, using reusable bags, and eliminating styrofoam from our shipping process, we are making strides towards a greener future.

But sustainability doesn't stop there. In our vineyards, we employ practices that promote biodiversity, conserve water, and reduce our carbon footprint. From cover cropping and natural pest control to careful water management, Trione Winery is dedicated to preserving the land that yields our beloved grapes. We have been a sustainable vineyard since 2014, when California started their greener initiative.

So, whether you're a seasoned wine enthusiast or just beginning your journey into the world of fine wines, Trione Winery invites you to indulge in the sheer pleasure of their signature wines.
