Primogenito Estate Olive Oil – Gold Medal Winner!

Olives at harvest-time at Trione Winery's estate grove We are thrilled to introduce Primogenito, our newest addition to the family of estate-grown products. This estate-grown olive oil is produced from a two-acre grove adjacent to our winery property to the north. Primogenito, meaning “first born” in Italian, is a passion project of Victor Trione, the first-born son of Henry Trione. This annual bottling from Vic’s Grove yields just under a ton of oil from a selection of four cultivars (varietals), each contributing a distinct characteristic to the flavor and a unique aspect to the farming process. Packaged in an elegant 500mL bottle with an ornate, Italian-inspired label, this balanced oil boasts fruity aromas of strong varietal (cultivar) characteristics with a lasting finish. With tremendous gratitude and pride, we announce that Primogenito has been awarded a Gold Medal at the recent Sonoma County Harvest Fair olive oil competition. Sonoma County Harvest Fair logo
